Pretty good shot, actually. I would say, though, that if you want to incorporate more of the background in the shot, try to make it more about the subject (either yourself or the situation itself). Otherwise, nicely done.
It's been retouched a couple of times, I just haven't posted them. I don't have access to the original picture right now and won't for a while. If you think you can retouch from the one posted then by all means have fun and I'm eager to see the results. If you'd like the orginal, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a while.
Ok, I've stared at this comment several times on and off for half a day and I still don't know what to say to that. This comment is all kinds of creepy but at the same time kinda sweet/cute. And I'm not sure which I care to comment on. So I'm making my confused face. :/
I keep coming back to this photo, so it must be purdy damn good!
However, it does have a kind of "Matrix" feel to it with the green filter applied. Do you have the base color photo that you could upload for comparison? This is definately something I'd like to do a regular photo-retouch of: perhaps make the colors more saturated and "grunge" up the photo a bit would be cool. I'd also like to re-crop the image and trim the irregularities from the background. Let me know if you want me to work on this. -Thanks.
Probably already been mentioned, but your tones are a bit off... If you want to heighten the stress of the picture, you should lower the saturation of the green for sure, and all colors just a bit (not quite B/W). Also, crop just a little tighter into you, that way it's not as distracting of a piece...
